Building
DeckEngine MVP is live. The core engine works—Typst measurement layer, column balancer, and python-pptx generation all wired up. You can convert markdown to editable PPTX with automatic two-column balancing at deckengine.io.
Next up: polish the web frontend, add more slide templates, and gather user feedback. Then Stripe integration for paid tiers.
Researching
Exploring new product ideas in the "AI to Professional Output" portfolio. Looking at recurring-need verticals where template-driven output and layout precision create a defensible moat.
Validating with potential users before committing. If you work in a role that involves regular print or document production, I'd love to chat.
Not Doing
Deliberately not spending time on:
- Twitter/X (no audience, low ROI without one)
- YouTube (too time-intensive for current stage)
- Features beyond MVP scope (images, tables deferred to v2)
